Lt. Pat Williams

Criminal Investigation Division

Lt. Williams began his law enforcement career in 1994 with the Randall County Sheriff’s Office. Lt. Williams started in the Jail Division, transferring to Patrol in 1998. Lt. Williams promoted to Corporal and Sergeant while in Patrol. In 2009, Lt. Williams moved to the Criminal Investigation Division. Lt. Williams investigated property crimes, some juvenile offenses and crimes against persons. In 2014, Lt. Williams was promoted to Lieutenant over CID, CSIU and the NET. Lt. Williams is a TCOLE Instructor, holds a Master Peace Officer license and is trained in hostage negotiations.

Staff Sgt. Allan Mongold

Allan Mongold has been with the Randall County Sheriff’s Office since 1988. In that time he has served as a Patrol Officer, a Patrol Sergeant, Departmental Range Master, and Criminal Investigator. Sgt. Mongold also spent several years assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force in Amarillo, Texas. Sgt Mongold is currently serving as a Crimes Against Persons investigator and is a member of the departments Tactical Team. Sgt. Mongold holds a Master Peace Officers License and a Bachelors Degree from West Texas A&M University.

Sgt. Byron Towndrow

Sgt. Byron Towndrow is a graduate of the New Mexico State Police Academy 1977 and a graduate of the Panhandle Regional Law Academy 1992. Sgt. Towndrow has been serving with the Randall County Sheriff’s Office since 1993. Sgt. Towndrow served in the Jail Division and then transferred to the Patrol Division in 1996 where he was promoted to Corporal, and was also a field training officer. Sgt. Towndrow then transferred to the Crime Scene Investigation Unit in 2002 and was promoted to Sergeant and Supervisor over the CSI Unit and the Crime Lab. Sgt. Towndrow transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division as a Crimes Against Persons Investigator in 2011. Sgt. Towndrow holds a Masters Peace Officer’s License and is a certified TCOLE Instructor.

Sgt. Victor Bradic

Sergeant Victor Bradic started his law enforcement career with the Texas Department Criminal Justice where he worked for 5 years as a Corrections Officer and Shift Sergeant. He then attended Plainview Police Department’s Reserve Police academy and served with the city of Plainview in a reserve capacity for two years. Sgt. Bradic was hired by the Randall County Sheriff’s Office in 1997 in the capacity of jail deputy. He worked in the jail for two and half years before being promoted to the patrol division where he served as an animal control deputy and patrol deputy. Sgt. Bradic was promoted to patrol Corporal in June of 2011 and then promoted to Sergeant in 2014 where he is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division investigating juvenile crimes and environmental violations. Sgt. Bradic is a TCOLE instructor, CIT Instructor, a member of the H.E.A.T.T. team and holds an advanced peace officer license.

Sgt. Marcos Fabela

Sergeant Marcos Fabela began his law enforcement career at the Randall County Sheriff’s Office 1993 as a Corrections Officer in the Jail division. In 1996, Sgt. Fabela promoted to the patrol division where he served as a patrol deputy and Field Training Officer until 2002. In 2002, Randall County created the first Courthouse Security position. Sgt. Fabela filled that new position and was in charge of security for all the county buildings, county courts and county offices in Canyon. In 2010, Sgt. Fabela was assigned to work in the Warrants Division and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In 2013, Fabela moved to the Criminal Investigation Division as a property crimes investigator. Sgt. Fabela holds a Master Peace officer license, is a Field Training Officer and a Forensics 1 Investigator.

Sgt. Rudy Montano

Sergeant Rudy Montano began his law enforcement career at the Randall County Sheriff’s Office in 2004 as a Deputy in the Jail Division. In 2004, Sgt. Montano promoted to the patrol division where he served as a patrol deputy and Field Training Officer. Sgt. Montano promoted to Patrol Corporal in 2017 and was also appointed Hostage Negotiator. Sgt. Montano in 2018 was appointed as Crisis Intervention Team Coordinator. Sgt. Montano was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in 2019. Sgt. Montano was promoted to the Criminal Investigation Division investigating juvenile crimes and mental cases. Sgt. Montano holds a Master Peace Officer’s License, Firearms Instructor Certification, Mental Health Peace Officer Certification, and Hostage Negotiator Certification.
